I had the option to reduce my workout and thus reduce my calorie burn -which I thought about - but when I took out all the running - and my philosophy on running is: Only if I am being chased by a wild animal! And only if I am not ready to die! - I was only going to burn roughly 1/2 an Oreo. And that my friends was completely unacceptable.
So run I did - and my trainer kept telling me I was TOO SLOW that and the words TOO SLOW kept flashing across the top of the screen. My "lady lumps" got super sore.
Friends - I finished, well, not quite all of the workouts, but enough to burn one Oreo. And, well, its something right?
Good job Nikki!! Seriously, it's always so hard to get back working out after awhile... So props! You did it.

ReplyDeleteWoohoo!!!! Congrats! Golly, really getting started is always the hardest part, so way to talk yourself into it! I always do a good job of talking myself out of it . . . usually cuz I promise myself I'll do it later, but, really, does "later" ever happen? Yeah. So great job!!
