A New Post - for those who care... :)









Yesterday I did the unthinkable. I worked out on the Wii that I bought for "working out purposes" ! I chose a Male trainer (duh!) and set up my little lady (who has incredible hips) and went to work. Of course - I chose the LOW impact workout that was a total of  - drummmmmmmrrrrooooolllllllllll - 22 minutes! And that my friends, included all of the instructional video time! Yep - I was setting myself up to burn some serious calories! (127 - enough to burn off 2 and 3/4 of the 7 Oreos I ate the night before)

I had the option to reduce my workout and thus reduce my calorie burn -which  I thought about - but when I took out all the running - and my philosophy on running is: Only if I am being chased by a wild animal! And only if I am not ready to die! - I was only going to burn  roughly 1/2 an Oreo. And that my friends was completely unacceptable.

So run I did - and my trainer kept telling me I was TOO SLOW that and the words TOO SLOW kept flashing across the top of the screen. My "lady lumps" got super sore. 

Friends - I finished, well, not quite all of the workouts, but enough to burn one Oreo. And, well, its something right?

  2. Congrats. . . I wonder how long it would take me to burn off the cinnabon I just finished. . . I'm not going to think about it. You're my hero.

  3. Woohoo!!!! Congrats! Golly, really getting started is always the hardest part, so way to talk yourself into it! I always do a good job of talking myself out of it . . . usually cuz I promise myself I'll do it later, but, really, does "later" ever happen? Yeah. So great job!!
